When will a free version of the API be realease ?

So far we haven't heard anything more precise than "this year".

By the way, this should be in discussion, not in tutorials.

It is being worked on. We have a lot of things we are creating for the API in conjunction with AMD. All that takes time to do right. We want the release to be easy for everyone to understand and use right away so we are creating examples as well as documentation on use.
