I would suggest that you run meshverify on your object prior to turning it into DMM to see if there are any highlighted areas with very thin tets. Assuming that is OK, it is possible that netgen has created a bad inner tet. You can adjust that by slightly varying the Area and Quality settings under the Density option in Triangulation & Tet Generation Parameters part of the DMM Asset Manager. Or, if you used TetCage, change the target face could and scale gap under Automatic cage a little. Either should result in a retesselation of the mesh, hopefully eliminating the thin internal tet.
