Ben Cole of the Moving Picture Company will be presenting a session at Siggraph 2011 this year on how MPC created Kali - their DMM-based finite element simulation toolkit for large-scale and detailed destruction. They will be showing examples from Zack Snyder's "Sucker Punch". MPC's use of Kali is also mentioned in Cinefex 125 in the "Sucker Punch" breakdown as well as in Cinefex 126 in the "Source Code" and "X-Men: First Class" breakdowns. ...
