DMM flickering problem with dielectric material

Hi,

I’m currently working on breaking glass using DMM and Maya 2012.

The glass has a dielectric material applied and I get a lot of flickering in the broken pieces even when these pieces stay still. If I switch dielectric to opaque material, the flickering disappears.

Is there a way get read of this flickering that makes DMM unusable with dielectric material?
