    Is it possible to create a Wheel attached to a mesh?

    Hey there, i noticed the rubber car video had wheels, how was this done? Was it done in Maya?
    Is there a way to create wheels attached to a mesh, thnx!

    Sorry for the delayed response, just saw this.

    To create joints like that, you have to share vertices in the cage mesh prior to adding the surface mesh. If you attach a single vertex, you can create a simple joint. The topology of the mesh can be such that there is not an issue adding a surface to it. Basically what you need to do is share vertices with the centers of both sides of a wheel and two divisions of an axle. Add the surface mesh of the wheel after you have created a DMM object with a cage containing the joined verts. There is a tutorial on that in our support section I believe. If I get some time, I'll try and create a video for you outlining the process.
