Well, we did release DMM Touch before year's end. There are a lot of factors beyond our control that affect getting DMM2 out the door. We are working hard to correct those. Should have more insight as to a new date within the next 2 weeks.
We haven't forgotten about this.
I seriously doubt that DMM Touch shows the full potential of DMM.Originally Posted by dmmjedi
Personally, I'm missing DMM on the PC.
In the beginning, the only way to get the slightest sneak peak was to buy an Xbox 360 or a PlayStation 3, and when The Force Unleashed more than a year later finally arrived on the PC, the implementation of DMM felt like a joke. It seemed extremely undetailed, and breaking a window just to to see it disappear before it had barely come to a rest, was extremely disappointing.
As far as I know, DMM has been around for the past 7 years, and there's still nothing that shows what DMM is really all about.
Wow, cant believe it has been over 2 years since we first asked for a DMM sandbox...

A new date is still being determined based on the feature set we think we can add to the final version.
Wow..2 years crazy times, anyway a new date would be good. Was really dissapointed dmm touch was'nt for android OS.
The iOS platform had the necessary horsepower to do the port of DMM, not sure if we could do that on Android, and even if we did, it would be to a very specific subset of the platform that would'nt make anyone happy.
What would you like to see in a sandbox release?
