As Zilhk said you've to go in the folder where "haspdint" is before typing the commands. It's usually located in : "C:\Program Files\Pixelux\DMM Plugin for Maya\License". If DMM is installed in...
That's just because they are very very complex professional software. e.g. A lot of people are using photoshop (found in some dark corner of the web ;) ) without even knowing that it's a 700$ (or...
He said that it took 5 hours ;) Not surprising for a 70k tet mesh (I can't even imagine the polycount  )
Wow very nice ! I love the result ! I suppose you rendered it in "dmm cinematic" mode ?
When you use "Show all" all the "parts" of a DMM object are displayed (input surface mesh, tet mesh ...). You've to go in the assets manager with the object selected and uncheck the parts that you...
Maya is a commercial professionnal 3d modelling software, you can't just download it. There's a free version but the DMM plugin ISN'T compatible with it (this version doesn't support plug-in). Here's...
You can't just convert a combined polymesh into a plain DMM object (or they must be connected in some way (you'll have to merge vertices, or faces). Maybe it will be easier for you to use a tetcage...

The inner faces aren't displayed as long as the object isn't broken. But yes, your model still has to have more polygons than an "usual" solid-model if you want it to be breakable. But I suppose...
The play button is always grey in maya ;) I've never seen it "disabled" for any reason (but I'm quite new to maya too so maybe there's some operation that disable it)
But yes, all you have to do...
The hair and fur tabs are the ones from Maya Unlimited edition, they're not related to DMM
In the top left of the Maya GUI, there's a listbox called the "Menu Selector" (with "Animation", "Polygons", "Surface" ... in it). Select DMM in this list and then you'll have a "DMM Assets" menu...
I think that you forgot to load the plugin :
Then you'll have a new shelf with DMM commands and a new DMM entry in the Menu Selector listbox, you can't miss them :)
Have fun ;)
Seems that you've posted in the wrong forum ;) This forum is about de DMM library (lib for application programming with DMM).
