WHat do you guys do to get Maya to populate each piece of shattered assets with a bone/joint so they can be exported into game engines?

There is an exporter built into the plugin for our game engine. Look under "Cobra Export" under "DMM Scene". This will save the scene out in a very simple format that you can use to construct a bone/joint mesh. We can provide you with the details of that format, but for the most part it is fairly straightforward (simple list of tets and meshes). The alternative is for us to write you a custom exporter, which our engineering group would be happy to do. Please send an email to info@pixelux.com for further discussion.
