I would love to see a sharpness attribute or something like that in the physical material or something like that.
Basically other DMM objects break x-times earlier at points where another DMM object touches it.
Just an Idea I got when I noticed it's quite hard to get something like a knife cut through some curtains (Either the whole thing just rips of where it's attached or it just bends or it rips of without the knife touching it)

Actually that's more a limitation of the FEA, so it's not really possible to add a "sharpness" attribute. However, in Star Wars The Force Unleashed they cut DMM trees, but they do that by code and that feature is not available through Maya.
